Send emails right from Trello

Engage with clients and suppliers over email – without ever leaving Trello! See all your emails alongside your project tasks and reply directly from Trello with our rich-text editor. Connect a shared inbox and get the whole team involved!

Save time with email templates

Got lots of similar queries from clients or suppliers? Avoid errors and focus on what matters with Saved Reply templates.

Work smarter with automations

Use Trello rules to automatically send out templated emails based on triggers. Less time spent typing means more time for meaningful work! For example:

• Ask for a customer review when you drag a card into “Signed Off”

• Create your own “Thank you” button to send an email with one click

• Send a follow-up email after 48 hours

Personalize your emails with variables

Use variables to insert contact names, checklists, due dates and more into your emails. Each variable will be automatically populated with the relevant value when you hit send.

Use your own email address

Control the reply-to address for your contacts. You can receive emails to your own SendBoard subdomain (e.g. info@example.sendboard.com) or choose to use your own email address.

Custom Fields at your fingertips

Give your emails a human touch by including Custom Fields. You can also extract details from your emails into Custom Fields, to be used elsewhere in Trello.

Keep up with email on the go

On site, out of office or in a client meeting? Reply to emails on the Trello mobile app! Simply type your response as a comment, starting with the keyword “@reply”.

One card, multiple conversations

Got some sensitive information that you don’t want a client or supplier to see? Easily select which emails to include or exclude from your replies.
